Join us at the Montgomery College Food Forest for our regular work parties, which take place on the first Saturday of every month. We’ll be planting trees, edible shrubs, nitrogen fixers and wildflowers as well as clearing the paths, mulching and generally tidying up the space so it’s ready for winter.

Where: 7676 Fenton Street, Silver Spring, MD

When: First Saturday of every month (November 1st)

What to bring: water bottle and gardening gloves if you have them (we have spare gloves and there’s a water fountain in a nearby building if you can’t bring a water bottle).

Transport: there is metered street parking on Chicago Avenue. There are also bus close to the food forest, on Philadelphia Avenue. Ride On Route 17 and Route F4 both stop at this location.
