We’re adding an African-style keyhole raised bed to the Montgomery College Food Forest. We’d love you to help us build it.
We’ll be using stone and a dry stack technique so if you’ve ever wanted to learn how to build a keyhole raised bed or a stone wall, then these sessions are for you.
The bed, which uses an in-built composter to enrich the soil, will expand the amount of free food we can grow in the food forest for the community.
We will build the bed over two consecutive weekends, starting on February 28th. The builds will take place each Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 2pm, weather permitting.
Please register so we know how many people to expect for each of the days. You can join for as many or as few of the sessions as you’d like. Space is limited so sign up soon!
