Join TPSS Co-op members and neighbors to connect with nature by learning about wild edible and medicinal plants in our region.
Bodhi Vasilopoulos from Nature's Love and Wisdom will take TPSS Co-op members and community members on an educational stroll through the Montgomery College Food Forest to discuss common wild edible and medicinal plants that grow in our region. We will cover topics such as plant and mushroom identification, understanding the basics of botany and herbalism, techniques for organic gardening, how to harvest sustainably and prepare different wild edible foods throughout the seasons, and more.
Come learn about the plethora of edible and medicinal plants and enjoy the beautiful weather!
